GEORGE M! tells the life story of George M. Cohan, a giant of the American Musical Theater who gave us such songs asYankee Doodle Dandy, Over There, You're A Grand Old Flag, and Give My Regards to Broadway. The show follows him over a 60-year period period from the late 1880s until 1937. The story begins with his childhood in Rhode Island on the vaudeville circuit with his parents and sister as "The Four Cohans," continuing to New York, where he starts his 25-year absolute reign of the Broadway stage.

Three new shows have been announced at the Spire Center for Performing Arts in Plymouth, MA. American Pop and Jazz singer Suede returns to the Spire Center on June 14, Roots and Rhythm Blues group The George Gritzbach Band performs on July 27, and Jazz duo Goodnight Moonshine plays on August 15. Tickets go on sale on Saturday, February 24 at 6:00 on the Spire website.

The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra has announced details of the 2024-25 season, its 103rd, which will feature the greatly anticipated revival of Giants in the Earth – the Pulitzer Prize winning opera by American composer Douglas Moore (The Ballad of Baby Doe) based on Ole Edvart Rølvaag's epic novel about Norwegian settlers of the Dakota Territory in 1873. The SDSO's production will be the first ever fully professional staging of Moore's opera. More details on Giants in the Earth can be found at the bottom of this release.
Las Vegas Philharmonic’s 25th season continues with Rhapsody in Blue at 100, with Music Director Donato Cabrera conducting his 10th and final season with the orchestra during the 2023-24 season.
