Following last year's fringe success, identical twins, Annie McGrath and Jack Barry return to the Pleasance Beside with their third hour, Twins: Two Balls In A Bag at 11pm from 3rd-28th August (not 17th) 2016.

Offering up more charmingly laid-back, self-deprecating comedy, Twins struggle to overcome fictional family rifts, which they tackle in this show with their trademark hybrid of sketch and stand-up comedy. Lines between romantic and familial love become blurred as Annie seems to have more than just a fondness for Jack.

Annie and Jack are praised for their undeniable comic chemistry and last year's show was one of Laugh Out London's Top 20 Sketch Comedy Shows, as well as James Acaster's Top Edinburgh Comedy picks in The Guardian.

Annie and Jack met at university where they were both part of The Leeds Tealights cast that won the Underbelly Sketch Off and The National Student's Best Student Sketch Group Award. After graduating, the pair formed Twins and have since written and performed on ITV2's @elevenish, as well as BBC Radio 4 Extra. Annie has appeared on Channel 4's Girls Go Trolling and Jack has been seen playing football on Channel 5 in a Charity England XI.

Aside from Twins and football, Annie and Jack are both stand-up comedians. Annie is performing her debut show, Annie McGrath: The Seven Ages of An, at the Pleasance Courtyard and Jack is performing his second show, Jack Barry: You Don't Know Jack, at Just The Tonic. Annie McGrath is the daughter of comedian and writer Rory McGrath and Jack Barry is the son of financial manager Ian Barry.
