The Big Bang has received such an overwhelming response from Sacramento audiences that the B Street Theatre is now extending the show's run to July 21st! Original 2005 cast members Greg Alexander, Jason Kuykendall, and Chris Schlagel reprise their roles in Graham and Feuer's cosmic romp, pitching their new idea for a musical recounting the history of the world to prospective investors. Chris accompanies as Greg and Jason introduce us to Adam and Eve, Nefertiti Queen of Egypt, Julius Ceasar, the Virgin Mary, Christopher Columbus, Pocahontas, Napoleon, Jimi Hendrix and many others in this gloriously campy and outrageously funny show now playing through July 21st.

The Big Bang (originally entitled Free Food and Frontal Nudity) premiered at PSI Theatre in Durham, NC before opening Off-Broadway in 2000. Boyd Graham earned two Drama Desk Award nominations for his work on the show. B Street's 2005 production, also directed by Acting Company member John P. Lamb, ran for a staggering 108 performances. B Street's current production, now extended through July 21st, is selling out quickly.

Recommended for mature audiences due to partial nudity.

The Big Bang plays Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays at 7 pm; Sundays at 1 pm. Tickets are $35, $30 Students and Seniors and are available at www.bstreettheatre.org or by calling (916) 443-5300.
