Bucks County Playhouse presents the uproarious Tony Award-winning musical THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the cast in rehearsal below!

The cast features: Becca Ayers as Rona Lisa Peretti / Olive's Mom; Ryan Breslin as Leaf Coneybear / Carl Schwartzandgrunenierre; Colin Hanlon as Vice Principal Douglas Panch; Caitlin Houlahan as Olive Ostrovsky; Katie Ladner as Logainne Schwartzandgrunenierre; Maurice Murphy as Mitch Mahoney / Dan Schwartzandgrunenierre / Olive's Dad; Paul Pilcz as William Barfee; George Salazar as Chip Tolentino / Jesus Christ; and Sumi Yu as Marcy Park.

Audiences join this eclectic group of six mid-pubescents who competitively vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime while candidly disclosing their hilarious and touching personal stories. Watch these charming overachievers try to fit in while standing out!

THE 25th ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE was conceived by Rebecca Feldman with music and lyrics by William Finn and book by Rachel Sheinkin. Led by director Jessica Stone and choreographer Connor Gallagher, the creative team includes Scenic Designer Charlie Corcoran, Costume Designer Tilly Grimes, Lighting DesignerAustin Smith, Sound Designer Charles Coes, and Projections Designer Stephen Stivo Arnoczy, with musical direction by Will Shuler.
