McKenzie Kurtz appeared on Late Night With Jimmy Kimmel to perform 'It Hit Me Like A Hammer' from The Heart of Rock & Roll. Kimmel sat down with Huey Lewis to discuss how the musical is 'significantly' different from it's pre-Broadway run. The televised Broadway performance is a rarity for Kimmel's LA-based talk show. Linedy Genao and the cast of Bad Cinderella kicked off the TODAY Show's week of Broadway performances this morning to perform 'It Has to Be Her' and the title song. Elliott Mattox has worked with videographer Jacob Hiss and a cast filled with Broadway ensemble members to create a video to commemorate the anniversary of the Broadway shutdown.

As BroadwayWorld previously announced, Frozen will not be re-opening when Broadway returns from its shutdown. In honor of the show, the ushers at the St. James Theatre created a video, set to Let It Go.

On Friday's episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan, Frozen on Broadway's new Anna and Elsa,  McKenzie Kurtz and Ciara Renée, performed the television debut of 'I Can't Lose You.'

The production will feature Aidan Alberto (Stevie), Jennifer Allen (Shirley Simpkins), Kevin Chamberlin (Mr. Pontdue), Carla Duren (Fran), Chester Gregory (Papa Longstreet), Mylinda Hull (Nancy), Marc Koeck (Oggle), Matt Loehr (Uncle Willy), Wayne Pretlow (Elmer Simpkins), Michael Urie (Harrison Floy), and Betsy Wolfe (Sara Longstreet).

James (Countess Peggy Palaffi), Hayley Podschun (Anna Murphy), and Tom Robbins (Harry Mischka Szigetti).

The Old Globe's presentation of Kiss Me, Kate, the classic musical comedy featuring a book by Sam and Bella Spewackand an iconic score by Cole Porter, is a spectacular revival in collaboration with Hartford Stage, choreographed by Peggy Hickey and directed by Hartford Stage Artistic Director and former Old Globe Shakespeare Festival Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak, who won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical for A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, which made its world premiere at The Old Globe and Hartford Stage in 2013. The Old Globe engagement runs now through August 2, with opening night tonight, July 9, on the Donald and Darlene ShileyStage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. The national tour of the Tony Award Nominated Best Revival of a Musical and smash hit production of Tim Rice's and Andrew Lloyd Webber's EVITA kicks off on September 8th at the Providence Performing Arts Center in Providence, RI. The national tour of EVITA will star Caroline Bowman (Kinky Boots) as Eva Peron, Tony nominated Josh Young (Jesus Christ Superstar) as Che and Sean MacLaughlin (Woman in White) as Juan Peron. The cast also features Desi Oakley as the alternate for Eva, Christopher Johnstone as Magaldi and Krystina Alabado as the Mistress.
