But one of the more popular forms of media to be adapted in the past few years has been the world of cinema.

During this time when productions all over the world have been put on pause, we are coming together to celebrate plays that have left their mark on theater history. This week we will be focusing on the plays of Pulitzer Prize winning playwright, Arthur Miller. Today's play, The Crucible!

Presley Ryan has announced her final day at Beetlejuice on Broadway will be Sunday, March 29. Ryan made the announcement on her Instagram, where she also announced she'll be doing a giveaway for a pair of tickets to her final performance for Women's Day this Sunday. A replacement for Lydia has not yet been announced.

Presley Ryan will star as Lydia in the smash hit musical BEETLEJUICE from Friday, February 28, through Sunday, March 29.

The previous record was held by SCHOOL OF ROCK with a gross of $1,506,236.20, for the week ending December 27, 2015.
