Hadestown, winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, plays the Ohio Theatre November 16-21 as part of the 2021-22 Broadway in Columbus season presented by CAPA and Broadway in Columbus.

Photos have been released of the re-opening cast of the critically-acclaimed, award-winning Off-Broadway production of LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, starting performances tonight, “on the twenty-first day of the month of September” at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street).

Hadestown, the winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, will come to Detroit in 2021. As part of the 2021-22 Broadway in Detroit Subscription Season, the show will play the Fisher Theatre, November 23 – December 5, 2021.

This fall marks the return of Broadway In Boston performances in the city of Boston.  Hadestown, the winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best New Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album will be the first production to welcome theatergoers back to the Citizens Bank Opera House.

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts announced today that Jason Robert Brown, Savion Glover, Priscilla López, Susan Stroman, Marisha Wallace, and Christopher Wheeldon have joined the growing list of Broadway stars participating in I'm Still Here: A Virtual Benefit for the Billy Rose Theatre Division, airing June 23, 2021 on Broadway On Demand at 8pm EST and 8pm PST. The fundraiser will help raise critical funds for the Library for the Performing Arts' beloved Theatre Division as it celebrates its 90th anniversary this year.

Today, Hadestown, Broadway’s Tony Award-winning Best New Musical, announced it is partnering with REVERB, the artist-led environmental nonprofit organization, to reduce the climate footprint for both the Broadway production and upcoming North American tour and engage fans in meaningful activism at their performances and online. 

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have announced that Manhattan Theatre Club will present its 2021 Spring Gala, “NYC MTC: A Virtual Gala for Manhattan Theatre Club,” on Thursday, June 10 at 7:00pm ET. It will be available to view until 7:00pm ET on Monday, June 14.

In the video series “Sing For Today,” opera star Joyce DiDonato uses song as a lens through which to process, navigate, and respond to current events. In this latest episode, to be released in time for Memorial Day Weekend, she sings the ballad “Danny Boy” and engages in a conversation about grief with Broadway producer Tom Kirdahy, who lost his husband, Terrence McNally, to COVID-19. 

I'm Still Here, a new virtual benefit for The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts' Billy Rose Theatre Division, will stream on Broadway On Demand on June 23. The evening is a celebration of the division's 90th Anniversary, and the 50th  Anniversary of its beloved Theatre on Film and Tape Archive and will honor Harold Prince and George C. Wolfe.
