Manhattan Theatre Club, Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) and Daryl Roth, Cody Lassen, The Dodgers in association with the Vineyard Theatre have just announced the Broadway premiere of the Pulitzer Prize winning How I Learned to Drive by Paula Vogel, with original stars Mary-Louise Parker and David Morse, directed by Mark Brokaw.

The Abingdon Theatre Company (Chad Austin, Artistic Director) in association with Jim Kierstead, will present a reading of Leaving Brooklyn, a new play by Jeff Mandels on Tuesday, July 16th at 3pm at The Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street). YouTube and Major League Baseball (MLB) today announced the first three matchups for their first-ever exclusive live game streaming distribution partnership: The MLB Game of the Week Live on YouTube. The package includes free live broadcasts of 13 games exclusively on YouTube during the second half of the 2019 MLB regular season.

After its hit runs at The Public Theater, The Old Vic London, and in the West End, Girl from the North Country will come to Broadway, beginning performances on Friday, February 7 at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44th Street) with the opening night set for Thursday, March 5.  

DPAC has announced that the upcoming North American Tour of SUMMER: The Donna Summer Musical will premiere in the Triangle for eight great shows beginning February 25th through March 1st, 2020, as part of WRAL's Greatest Hits of Broadway.

I don't wanna be a snitch but I can tell you A BRONX TALE is based on the one-man show that inspired the now classic film, this streetwise musical takes audiences to the stoops of the Bronx in the 1960s-where a young man is caught between the father he loves and the mob boss he'd love to be. Featuring an original doo-wop score, this is a tale about respect, loyalty, love, and above all else: family. I have great news for you, mafiosos. Bronx Tale will play the Broward Center for the Performing Arts on June 11 through 23, 2019 and you don't need to wack anyone to see it!

I had the pleasure of seeing A Bronx Tale with my friend Cassy, who had NEVER seen a musical before! (I know, right?!) I invited Cassy because the 1993 movie, off which the musical is based, is her favorite. Seriously, her cat is named Calogero, after the lead character in both the movie and the play. I was excited to see this show, and especially excited to see it through the eyes of a neophyte theater goer. I was not disappointed!

An industry presentation of RE-WIRE will be held on Thursday, May 9th at 3pm & 7pm in New York City.
