Everybody's Talking About Jamie, the smash-hit and critically acclaimed musical, is visiting Milton Keynes Theatre from Mon 10th – Sat 15th Jun as part of its UK Tour.

Fresh from a UK tour and three years after the Amazon Prime movie, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie is back in London. The well known story is one of a Year 11 student in Sheffield who faces the challenges of his surroundings in order to become a drag queen. The musical, based on a true story, remains a heartwarming and energetic tale that promises to put a smile on your face.

BroadwayWorld was invited to a celebration of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie at the Peacock Theatre. We were treated to a Q&A with Dan Gillespie Sells (Music), Ivano Turco (Jamie New), Giovanna Fletcher (Miss Hedge) and Talia Palamathanan (Pritti Pasha), hosted by Jonathan Butterell (Director). Here are some highlights from the Q&A, as well as an interview with Ivano!

Second song and video released from new upcoming British musical SOHO DREAMS. Watch Jessica Pardoe as lead character, Samantha Serraillier sing 'Child'. 'Child' is a moving autobiographical ballad that reflects the dilemma Samantha faces in a changing Soho.

This is a gold standard production in every sense of the phrase. It holds up extremely well against the west end production, to which inevitable comparisons will be drawn. Ivano Turco is fourth in a line of iconic Jamies past, and his elegance of movement is what sets him apart from those who stood before him. Turco’s beauty and grace is imbued in every step taken and every note sung, and it takes no time at all to fall in love with him.

The smash-hit and critically acclaimed musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie has announced initial casting for its second UK & Ireland tour and London performances at the Peacock Theatre from Monday 5 February to Saturday 16 March 2024

Straight from the West End, Shane Richie (I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here, EastEnders) will play Hugo/Loco Chanelle. Shobna Gulati (Coronation Street, Dinnerladies) also re-joins the cast to play Ray.
