The Nutmeg Ballet Conservatory will present Impact 2015 at the Warner Theatre's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre on March 7 & 8, 2015.

The Geffen Playhouse announces the cast for its West Coast premiere production of Conor McPherson's The Night Alive, helmed by Geffen Playhouse Artistic Director Randall Arney. This production will feature Paul Vincent O'Connor (August: Osage County at the National Theatre, London), Fiona O'Shaughnessy (Utopia), Dan Donohue (The Lion King on Broadway), Denis Arndt (Basic Instinct), and Peter O'Meara (Band of Brothers).

From February 13 to February 21, Humber Theatre presents the provocative This Side of Heaven, an original production co-created and directed by Varrick Grimes and Kiersten Tough, featuring the work of graduating Theatre Performance and Theatre Production students.

New Light Theater Project, who have just been inducted into the Indie Theater Hall of Fame for 2014 by Indie Theater Now, will present the World premiere of NO ONE LOVES US HERE by hot, up-and-coming British playwright Ross Howard. This black comedy was a finalist for the New York Stage and Film Founders Award 2012. Directed by Jerry Heymann, the show began previews January 15 and opened on January 22 at Urban Stages.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced the cast and creative team for the Michele Riml comedy Sexy Laundry, which will be presented in the Studio Theatre tonight, Jan. 31 - Feb. 22, 2015. Veteran actors Wendy Welch and Bob Hess will co-star as Alice and Henry.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced its production of the Michele Riml comedy Sexy Laundry, directed by Terry Martin, tonight, Jan. 31 - Feb. 22, 2015 in the Studio Theatre. Sexy Laundry is part of the new Discover Series in the Studio Theatre.

Next month, the graduating class of Imagination Stage's Pegasus Ensemble, a teen actor training program of 12 students with cognitive and/or development disabilities, will perform an original script, The Light From Inside. Florida Studio Theatre's Bowne's Lab is the next tour stop for ImprovBoston on February 8, 2015. America has a rich history, some of which, of course, we'd all prefer to forget. But, to ignore them can just lead to repeating them, and we all should know better than that by now. However, it's important that we continue to mine the events of the past in order to enlighten and provoke discussion. This is the very thing that Keith Josef Adkins' brilliant work SAFE HOUSE does with a considerable amount of power and conviction. It's a story set in Kentucky in 1843, when slavery was still very much a resident evil that ruled the land, even though there were African Americans who were freeborn. The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis is currently presenting this new play, and as they always seem to have a knack for doing, it's done in a completely compelling and infinitely memorable fashion that makes for a truly moving and enriching experience.

England's most storied rivalry takes center stage at Folger Theatre in Friedrich Schiller's classic drama Mary Stuart from tonight, January 27- March 8, 2015.

The New Group continues its 20th Anniversary Season with the New York Premiere of Rasheeda Speaking, by Joel Drake Johnson, helmed by Cynthia Nixon in her directorial debut. This production features Patricia Conolly, Darren Goldstein, and as previously announced, Tonya Pinkins and Dianne Wiest. A limited Off-Broadway engagement plays tonight, January 27 - March 22, 2015, with Official Opening Night set for Wednesday, February 11 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street).
