BWW Previews: BUSINESS TIME The New Web Series

By: Feb. 02, 2015

Business Time starring Alex Herrald and Curran Connor, follows the often times trivial and more often times absurd workplace non-adventures of Gene and Gene. Gene and Gene both love business and being businessmen more than anything else in the world. They take great pride in being open, honest, and emotionally available. They also enjoy making eye contact, being respectful, and agreeing on things. Inspired by absurd television shows such as Stella, Childrens Hospital, and Tim and Eric, and the film The Visioneers,

Business Time is about two businessmen with an extraordinary, and sometimes unsettling, intense passion for everyday office work. All seven episodes are available to stream now for your binge-watching pleasure.

Business Time is created and written by lead actor and co-producer Alex Herrald with direction by co-producer Kristopher Knight (director with UCB Digital team Pocketwatch). The director of photography is Andy Bond (UCB Digital team The Punch), sound by Sean Mannion, and art direction by Amy Staats. The cast is comprised of Herrald (Carry the Zero at Ensemble Studio Theatre, Just Right Just Now with Lesser America, These Seven Sicknesses at The Flea Theater), Curran Connor (House of Cards on Netflix, Winners at the Ensemble Studio Theatre), Risa Sarachan (Inconvenient Interviews With Risaat at hellogiggles.com), Turna Mete (Deadbeat on Hulu, The Parable Conference at the Brooklyn Academy of Music), Sean McIntyre (Job and These Seven Sicknesses at the Flea Theater), and Chris Donahue (Chris and Sami Present: How to Live Together and Wiggles on YouTube). Original music by Brett Mikoll.
