The African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) will present AAFCA Salutes Broadway on Monday, October 17th at the Lamb's Club in the heart of New York's theater district.

The African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) will present AAFCA Salutes Broadway. The event will honor The Merchant of Venice and Till star John Douglas Thompson, Topdog/Underdog writer Suzan-Lori Parks, Death of a Salesman's Wendell Pierce, and The Piano Lesson's LaTanya Richardson Jackson.

The Drama Book Shop will host a reading, discussion and signing for Tony Award-winning set designer Beowulf Boritt’s new book, Transforming Space Over Time: Set Design and Visual Storytelling with Broadway’s Legendary Directors on Tuesday, October 11 at 7:00pm.

Danielle Brooks spoke to original The Color Purple star Whoopi Goldberg about wrapping production on the upcoming musical film adaptation as Sofia. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in the West End, which has already been seen by over 100,000 people have added two additional performances over the festive season – matinees on 14 December 2022 and on 4 January 2023.

Roundabout Theatre Company's world premiere of Primary Trust by playwright Eboni Booth, directed by Knud Adams, will star Emmy Award nominee William Jackson Harper (“The Underground Railroad”) and Obie and Outer Critics Circle Award winner April Matthis (The Piano Lesson).
