Bucks County Playhouse Producers Robyn Goodman and Alexander Fraser announce the launch of a musical theatre development program focusing on the importance of lyrics in the creation of new musicals: The Oscar Hammerstein Festival - named in honor of the master writer whose countless accomplishments during his illustrious career include having mentored a young Stephen Sondheim at Hammerstein's Bucks County farm -- is a year-long program that offers expert mentorship to early career composers and lyricists. The Oscar Hammerstein Festival will culminate in a weekend with musical theatre experts, artists, and enthusiasts and various events open to the general public. Kidrockers Welcomes Macaulay Culkin's The Pizza Underground and Caveman Tonight

NYU Skirball Center is proud to partner with Kidrockers to present a series of authentic rock shows for families as part of the Big Red Chair series. One of New York's fastest rising bands, Caveman, with recently formed pizza-themed Velvet Underground tribute band, The Pizza Underground (Macaulay Culkin + friends) will begin the series tonight, February 8. Comedians Seth Herzog ('Late Night with Jimmy Fallon') and Craig Baldo ('Last Comic Standing') host the event at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts (566 LaGuardia Place, corner of LaGuardia Place and Washington Square South at the base of NYU's KimMel Center for University Life).
