Tectonic Theater Project and Miami New Drama will present an online performance of select scenes from Las Aventuras de Juan Planchard, written and directed by Tectonic Theater Project founder and Artistic Director Moisés Kaufman, and based on the best-selling novel by fellow Venezuelan Jonathan Jakubowicz, on October 6.

Today we rewind to 2012 for the fourth Broadway revival of The Heiress. Written by Ruth Goetz and Augustus Goetz, it played for 117 performances at the Walter Kerr Theatre, led by Jessica Chastain and Dan Stevens in their Broadway debuts.

After beating Stage 2 Hodgkin's lymphoma when he was a sophomore at Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, Broadway and Television actor Rob Morean is back as Executive Producer and Host of 'Band Together: Lights Up on Broadway.'

Tectonic Theater Project will present MOMENTS IN PROGRESS, a reading of selections from new plays currently in development, on Monday, January 27 at 7:30pm co-presented by and performed at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Ave. Tectonic Theater Project company member and two-time Emmy Award winner Michael Emerson will host the evening, guiding audiences through Tectonic's current projects. TADA! Youth Theater will celebrate its 35th Anniversary Gala. This year's honorees are Jason Robert Brown and Georgia Stitt, and the TADA! Gala will be hosted by Tituss Burgess. 

An open call will be held for an upcoming staged reading of Farewell My Concubine, the new musical with music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown. The reading will be held February 3rd a?" 8th and February 11th.

 Bergen County Players, one of America's longest-running little theater companies, is pleased to continue its 2019-2020 season with the Tony-nominated play, 33 Variations. Written by Moisés Kaufman (The Laramie Project) and directed by Steve Bell, 33 Variations will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from January 11th through February 1st, 2020. 

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater will present the American Artist Award to Tony Award-winning actress, choreographer, director and author Baayork Lee. The award will be presented Wednesday, November 13, 2019 as part of the opening night celebration for Disney's Newsies, directed by Molly Smith. 

Dining with Ploetz, an evening of one-acts, will play at Theater for the New City September 5 - 22. Opening night is slated for Friday, September 6 at 8:00 pm. Written by playwright and published author Richard Ploetz, the production features three dark comedies, Goldfish, Memory Like a Pale Green Clock and Bone Appetite.
