Academy Award winning composer Stephen Schwartz (Wicked) has joined the cast of Broadway Bound: The Musicals That Never Came to Broadway on Wednesday, February 15th at 7:00pm at Feinstein's/54 Below.

Pippin: The 50th Anniversary Original Broadway Cast Reunion Concert will stream live on February 7th at 7:00pm ET. In addition to the live- streamed option, there will also be four in-person performances on February 6th and 7th at 7:00pm and 9:30pm.

Erin Davie (Diana: The Musical), AJ Holmes (The Book of Mormon) and Joe Iconis (Be More Chill) will be joining the third edition of Broadway Bound: The Musicals That Never Came To Broadway on Wednesday, February 15th at 7:00pm at Feinstein’s/54 Below.

​​​​​​​Routledge Press' highly praised new book FIFTY KEY STAGE MUSICALS by Robert W. Schneider and Shannon Agnew, which rounds-up fifty musicals whose creations were seminal in altering the landscape of musical theater, is now being given a one night only concert with the artists who helped create these monumental musicals at 54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club.

This is not a “Best Of” list because it isn’t for me to say what is best, only what resonated with me, but after a lot, a lot, a lot of shows, this New Year's Eve, these shows are still on my mind.

After critically acclaimed sold out concerts in 2017, 54 Below will be presenting their third edition of Broadway Bound: The Musicals That Never Came To Broadway on Wednesday, February 15th at 7:00pm at 54 Below.

URBAN STAGE's annual Winter Rhythms cabaret series has announced the full run-down of shows and acts to play in the 2022 season

The gala honored musical theater legend Leslie Uggams  with the 2022 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Outstanding Achievement in Musical Theater, which will be presented by Dionne Warwick. Ted Chapin was also honored with The York Theatre Company Founders' Award, presented by his daughters Anika and Zoë Chapin. Other Lives: The Story Songs of Michael Colby, a mélange of melody and tour de force performances featuring lyrics by Michael Colby, will be presented as part of Urban Stages 2022 “Winter Rhythms” series, produced by Tom Toce and Sue Matsuki, on Sunday, December 11 at 3pm and Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 7pm at Urban Stages Theater 

54 BELOW will welcome the original Broadway cast of Pippin to celebrate the beloved musical’s 50th anniversary. Due to extreme popular demand, Pippin has added two performances on February 7 at 7pm & 9:30pm, in addition to its previously announced performances on February 6 at 7pm & 9:30pm, for a total of four shows.

The next broadcast of Rob Morrison's Musical Theatre Melodies will pay tribute to the 50th Anniversary of Steven Schwartz and Roger O. Hirson's Tony Award winning musical PIPPIN, featuring interviews with Tony Award winner John Rubenstein and songs from the original Broadway cast recording with special narration by Tony Award nominee Walter Willison.

Tony Award winner Rupert Holmes (Drood), Heather MacRae (OBC Hair), Michael McElroy (appearing via video, Rent) and Natalie Mosco (OBC Hair) have been added to FIFTY KEY STAGE MUSICALS: IN CONCERT at 54 Below on September 11th, 2022 at 9:30pm.

54 BELOW will present Len Cariou, Brad Oscar, John Rubinstein, and more in “Charles Kirsch’s Backstage Babble Live!” on Tuesday, September 6 at 7 PM. 14-year-old Charles Kirsch will produce and host an evening featuring 12 of his previous guests recreating songs that they’ve performed on Broadway and beyond.

Seth Sikes returns to 54 Below next month with a brand new Barbra Streisand tribute show. Before September 8th and opening night roll around, Seth chats with Broadway World Cabaret.
