Manhattan Repertory Theatre Presents Free To Go in Playwright's Showcase May 4 and 5.

The second workshop in The Dare Tactics 4th Season, Good Fit, by Nkenna Akunna, is a dark, absurdist play that comments on the limits and liberties assigned to particular identities in public space, asking who is allowed to fit into the fabric of society and who has the power to decide.

FACT THEATRE COMPANY is kicking-off their 10th season with a Win-Win Situation. They have already won the opportunity to appear in the 2018 Manhattan Repertory Theatre's One-Act Spring Play Competition on Saturday & Sunday April 14 & 15 where they will compete for the over-all $1000 Best Play award with ". . . MY BOOT TOO!" by Jack Dyville.

Manhattan Repertory Theatre serves up a Digital Age comedy of manners in The Literary Lionesses of Lower Manhattan, a world premiere farce written by award-winning playwright Zachary Michael Jack.

The Village Playwrights have announced their lineup of guests for the spring. The Village Playwrights meet from 8 pm to 10 pm at the LGBT Community Center, 208 W. 13th St., NYC.  Everyone is welcome.

Anthony J. Piccione's latest work, CAROL - premiereing at the Manhattan rep's latests new works series - centers on Vinny, a young, successful best-selling novelist just starting work on his next book. However, crippling anxiety stops his creativity and only turning to alcohol can change that. As he is finally able to move on from his addiction, he receives a return visit from his old 'muse.'

Rabbit Hole is the first production of Breach Once More 2018-2019 season. Rabbit Hole is a family drama that charts a grieving family through a empathic search for comfort in the darkest of places and a path that will lead them back into the light of day. Becca and Howie Corbett have everything a family could want, until a life-shattering accident turns their world upside down and leaves the couple drifting perilously apart. The entire family finds themselves lost as they attempt to recovery from the loss of their son. The Corbett's have become strangers in their own home; inhabiting isolated space.

Everyday Inferno Theatre Company is thrilled to announce their production of Carol Lashof's The Melting Pot will play a limited run at The Access Theater in March. The play, directed by Alex Keegan and produced by Ana?s Koivisto and Katherine Sommer, features John Blaylock (The Metropolitan Playhouse), Matt DaSilva (Beauty and the Beast National Tour), Ty Gaines, Maya Jasmin (Manhattan Repertory Theatre), Franz Jones (Big River, Original Broadway production), Isaac Allen Miller, Talia Reich, and Rochelle Slovin (Russian Arts Theatre).

Vinny, a young, successful best-selling novelist just started work on his next book. However, he has been significantly affected by his crippling anxiety, which he is only able to overcome by drinking considerable amounts of red wine. After some help from his friends, he has been able to finally move on, and start functioning as both a writer and a civilized person without it. However, on one particularly stressful night, the temptation strikes again, as he receives a return visit from his old muse.
