Fact Theatre Company Presents MY BOOT TOO! FACT THEATRE COMPANY is kicking-off their 10th season with a Win-Win Situation. They have already won the opportunity to appear in the 2018 Manhattan Repertory Theatre's One-Act Spring Play Competition on Saturday & Sunday April 14 & 15 where they will compete for the over-all $1000 Best Play award with ". . . MY BOOT TOO!" by Jack Dyville.

The 20-minute play is an updated version of the first-scene from the full-length comedy/drama, "AN UMBRELLA IN THE SNOW" which FACT produced at the Secret Theatre five years ago with great success. The presentation for MRT stars Lynn Manuell as Miss Lovely and Paul Fraccalvieri as Edgar. An honestly-rendered, heartfelt play, Dyville's script explores the friendship of two unlikely acquaintances, an aging former Broadway chorine, slipping into dementia and a NYC father of three, a Diner owner and fry-cool. The two establish a bond of friendship and understanding, which is apparent in just minutes. It is told with heart and soul and a few laughs along the way.

Both Ms. Manuell and Fraccalvieri last appeared with FACT during their 2016-2017 off-Broadway production at St. Luke's Theatre, 'SGT.STUBBY: The Great America War Dog Musical. Fraccalvieri as Captain Athy and Manuell as The Nurse (Understudy) and Production Consultant. She is a founding member and and they both serve on the Board of Directors for FACT. Manuell appeared in FACT productions of UFF'DA and IF THE PINK PUMP FITS. She adapted her published book, STANDING TALL to a theatrical presentation for the non-profit Company a few years back. The two are both educators in addition to their performance careers.

This NYC-based Friends Always Creating Theatre Company is no stranger to Festivals having previously performed in Strawberry, receiving a Top 5 Best Actress nomination, and twice with the NY Summer Festival most recently in July at the Hudson Guild Theatre with Dyville's play MY STAGE DADDY which also received a Best actress nomination for one of the actresses.

Dyville also produced and penned the 2008 first presentation by FACT, the musical GUTTER STAR co-written by Mack Avery for another well-known Festival; New York International Fringe at the Minetta Lane Theatre in the West Village. Dyville is a member of the Dramatist Guild of America and attended two semesters of Playwrights' Horizons Invitational Workshop in 2003-2004.
