A Spanish American War historical court room drama, The Court Martial of Almirante (Admiral) Montojo, was successfully performed off-off-Broadway last December 8, 2018 at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre on 17-19 West 45th Street. 'I was only hoping for a respectable attendance but thankfully both the matinee and evening shows were fully filled,' said Filipino playwright Dennis Posadas.

The beginning draft of the play The Court Martial of Almirante Montojo wrote itself deep within Filipino playwright Dennis Posadas's psyche one day as he was having a beer near Manila Bay several years ago. Since then his play, a historical courtroom drama about Spanish Contraalmirante Patricio Montojo's post Battle of Manila Bay trial in Madrid in 1899 after his loss to Admiral George Dewey at Manila Bay has been edited and rewritten so many times. 'I first pitched the story to a newly opened science museum in Manila several years ago but we did not come to an agreement. So the story slept for a while in my hard drive, Posadas said.

Skeleton Rep(resents) will present Caroline Bennett's DEVICES OF TORTURE directed by Ria T. DiLullo as part of the New York International Fringe Festival - FringeNYC (638 Washington Street, Corner of Charles St.) October 13-22. Performances will be Saturday, October 13 at 8:45pm, Monday, October 15 at 9:45pm, Saturday, October 20 at 6:30pm, Sunday, October 21 at 5:30pm, and Monday, October 22 at 9pm.
