About Face Theatre will open its 2022-2023 season with the world premiere of Omer Abbas Salem’s new play Mosque4Mosque, directed by Sophiyaa Nayar. Mosque4Mosque will be presented November 17 – December 17, 2022 at The Den Theatre.

54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, will present Show Me Eternity on November 9, 9:30 pm. Which love stories are allowed to be told? Show Me Eternity, a new musical about everlasting love and the erasure of queer identity, tells a story hidden for over a century: the romance between Emily Dickinson and Sue Gilbert.

Jane Wagner’s one-woman show “The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe” that features “Saturday Night Live” star Cecily Strong is opening at Center Theatre Group / Mark Taper Forum. Jackalope Theatre Company has announced their return to in-person performances with their 2022/2023 season featuring the Among the Dead by Hansol Jung, directed by Jackalope Artistic Director Kaiser Ahmed*, and the world premiere of Pretty Shahid written by company member Omer Abbas Salem*, and directed by Sophiyaa Nayar.

Michael R. Jackson's WHITE GIRL IN DANGER will begin previews on March 15, 2023 and will officially open on April 10, 2023 at Second Stage’s Off-Broadway home, the Tony Kiser Theater. The limited 8-week run will play through Sunday, May 21, 2023.

This fall, Steep Theatre will return to the stage with the Midwest Premiere of Alexis Scheer’s Our Dear Dead Drug Lord, opening October 28. This production will mark Steep’s first from award-winning playwright Scheer and Sophiyaa Nayar’s Steep directorial debut.

Due to positive COVID test results within the company, Vineyard Theatre has cancelled performances of Lessons in Survival: 1971 through Sunday, June 12. Ticket holders for impacted performances (June 10-12) will be contacted by phone and email regarding rebooking and next steps.
