Renowned television writer Ronald D. Moore will be honored with the Outstanding Television Writer Award at the 2024 Austin Film Festival.

Kathleen Kennedy will be honored with the 2024 Polly Platt Award for Producing at the Austin Film Festival. The festival will celebrate Kennedy's illustrious career and contributions to the film industry.

Past recipients of the Golden Eddie include Spike Lee, Quentin Tarantino, Kathleen Kennedy, Christopher Nolan, Lauren Shuler Donner, Gina Prince-Bythewood, Guillermo del Toro, Vince Gilligan, J.J. THE NEW GROUP OFF STAGE presents 'Lypsinka: Toxic Femininity,' a new short film written and performed by John Epperson and directed by Chloë Sevigny.

“Timeless Heroes,” directed by acclaimed documentary filmmaker Laurent Bouzereau, explores Harrison Ford’s enduring appeal and his upbringing, including his foray into the entertainment business, his casting in the iconic “Indiana Jones” franchise, and the impact and inspiration generated by the films.

Today, the American Film Institute (AFI) celebrated the commencement of the AFI Conservatory Class of 2023 at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. The event was a culmination of two years of intense study at AFI's MFA program, ranked one of the top film schools in the nation.

The Mandalorian Season 3: Vol. 1 (Chapters 17-20) digital soundtrack features musical themes by Oscar®, Grammy® and Emmy® winning composer Ludwig Göransson (“Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” “Tenet,” “Black Panther”) and score by Joseph Shirley (“Creed III,” “The Book of Boba Fett”). Göransson also produced the score.
