Continuing  its 75th Anniversary celebration as the world’s most celebrated and influential membership association for professional actors, directors and playwrights The Actors Studio will open its doors to the public for a special event, free and open to the public: The Playwright: Tales From The Color Line on Saturday, March 25 at 7PM.

The Beverly Hills Theatre Guild is seeking new, unproduced plays for its annual Julie Harris Playwright Award Competition. The international event offers 3 cash prizes of $3,500, $2,500 and $1,500 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

One of the five plays featured in last season's New Year/New Plays Festival, The Science of Leaving Omaha runs through February 19, with specially priced previews on February 1 and 2 (7:30pm). Porchlight Music Theatre is continuing its 2022 - 2023 season with Porchlight Revisits I am a Camera, book by John Van Druten, directed by Nate Cohen+. Porchlight Revisits I am a Camera is presented for two performances only Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 9 at 1:30 p.m.

The legendary and Tony Award-winning stage actress/singer Betty Buckley will return to the famed Café Carlyle for five live performances September 27 - October 1, 2022. Buckley will offer an eclectic mix of standards and songs by contemporary songwriters.
