Jenny Caron Hall, Artistic Director of SHAKE Festival, today announces a rehearsed reading of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. Following the success of previous livestreams, The Tempest, and Sonnets & Carols, the latest reading, directed by Caron Hall, will be streamed live for one night only on Wednesday 31 March at 7.30pm.

Concord Theatricals has secured worldwide licensing rights to Slave Play.  The play will be available through Concord’s Samuel French imprint, and will initially be released to professional theaters.

Oren Safdie, a nationally celebrated playwright of contemporary architecture culture, will have his play, Color Blind, presented as a staged performance at the Center for Architecture in New York. The play was featured at the 2019 Symposium on Race & Architecture at the University at Buffalo, SUNY, and recently won the Kevin Tierney Prize for best new English language play in Quebec.

Jeremy O. Harris's Slave Play, directed by Robert O'Hara, concluded its Broadway run at the John Golden Theatre yesterday. The show played 29 previews and 121 regular performances. Check out the director addressing the crowd following the hit play's final curtain call.
