Hill Country Community Theatre announces its 2019-20 season featuring two musicals and three comedies, including two world premieres.  The five productions in the season include the musical comedy "More Senior Moments," a holiday comedy "A Twisted Christmas Carol," the comedy "Ken Ludwig's Moon Over Buffalo," the comedy "The Savannah Sipping Society," and Rodgers and Hammerstein's classic musical "Carousel."  This marks HCCT's 34th year.

River City Community Players presents 'Mama Won't Fly' by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten (the playwrights of 'Dixie Swim Club' and 'Doublewide, Texas'). Performances will be June 14 - 23 (Friday and Saturday nights at 8 pm and Sunday afternoons at 2:30 pm) at the Lynn Theatre at John Tyler Community College (Midlothian Campus), 800 Charter Colony Pkwy in Midlothian. Newport Playhouse and Cabaret Restaurant is thrilled to continue their 36th Season with the uproarious farce Always a Bridesmaid by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten, Jones and directed by Olivia M. Sahlin running May 30 through July 1, 2019.

CLOSING! Chapin Theatre Company presents DIXIE SWIM CLUB by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten. The production is directed by Ripley Thames and stars Tiffany Dinsmore, Meesh Hays, Zsuzsa Manna, Cathy Carter Scott, and Debra Haines Kiser. DIXIE SWIM CLUB opens Friday, April 26th and runs through Sunday, May 5th. Tickets are $18 for adults, $17 for seniors (60 and older), and $15 for youth (18 and under).
