The GRAMMY Museum® announced today it will release two Songwriters Hall of Fame programs from its archive while the Museum in Los Angeles is closed until further notice in light of COVID-19

On April 25th, Grammy Award-winning producer, singer and longtime Artist in Residence at Monteverdi Tuscany will perform a backyard concert from his home in Los Angeles with all band members stationed more than 6-feet apart from each other. They are performing “Bella Notte,” by Peggy Lee and “Stand By Me,” from Jerry Leiber, Mike Stoller, and Ben E. King.

State Theatre New Jersey and WillJam Productions present the Golden Oldies Spectacular on Saturday, March 21, 2020, 7pm. The Golden Oldies features Jay and the Americans, BJ Thomas, Lou Christie, Dennis Tufano, and the 1910 Fruitgum Company. Tickets range from $35-$85.

The Muny announced today the directors, choreographers and music directors for its 2020 season, which opens June 15 with Kander and Ebb's internationally-acclaimed Chicago. Among the talented list are a mix of Muny favorites and newcomers. In addition to casting, a comprehensive list of design teams for each production will be released later this spring. Corky Hale's critically acclaimed holiday album, “Have Yourself a Jazzy Little Christmas,” has been reissued by LML Records.  An acclaimed jazz harpist, she also excels on piano and vocals.  She is joined by Kirk Smith on bass and Tom Walsh on drums.

Legendary singer-songwriter and musician Gordon Lightfoot will perform live in concert at Kalamazoo's Miller Auditorium on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 8 p.m.

The production is directed by Tony Houck, with choreography from Michael Mizerany.

Producers Steven Baruch, Marc Routh, Richard Frankel and Tom Viertel announced today that Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs of Leiber & Stoller, the all-new incarnation of the record breaking Broadway hit, will close on Sunday, November 4, 2018. The show will have played 20 previews and 121 performances at Stage 42 (422 West 42nd Street). Previews began on Friday, July 6 and the production officially opened on Sunday, July 22.
