BWW Review: PETER AND THE STARCATCHER at Playhouse MercedBWW Review: PETER AND THE STARCATCHER at Playhouse Merced
by Harmony Wheeler - Mar 14, 2017

Based on a children's book and built with a mostly adult audience in mind, Peter and the Starcatcher isn't the sort of show you can put in a defined box. The J.M. Barrie-inspired play utilizes an unusual narrative style dependent on a versatile cast and imaginative staging. And of course, familiarity with the boy who never grew up adds to the enjoyment of a clever script. (more...)

BWW Review: Magical FINDING NEVERLAND at the PantagesBWW Review: Magical FINDING NEVERLAND at the Pantages

One surprising element is the musical score by Gary Barlow and Eliot Kennedy that includes some wonderfully poignant and moving ballads. With sweeping direction by Diane Paulus and a dynamite cast this national touring production is bound to please just about everyone, the young and the young at heart. It plays at the Hollywood Pantages through March 12. (more...)
