Tony, Golden Globe, Emmy winner Mary-Louise Parker will star in the Broadway premiere of THE SOUND INSIDE, written by Adam Rapp (Red Light Winter), directed by Tony Award winner David Cromer (The Band's Visit). Previews are already underway for the play, which is set to open on October 17, 2019 at Studio 54 on Broadway (254 West 54th Street).

Tony winner Mary-Louise Parker joins the 3rd hour of TODAY to discuss her return to Broadway for the play a?oeThe Sound Inside.a?? In it, she plays a professor diagnosed with a potentially terminal cancer who strikes up a relationship with a student.

THE SOUND INSIDE begins performances tomorrow, Saturday, September 14, with an official opening night set for Thursday, October 17, on Broadway at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). THE SOUND INSIDE will partner with TodayTix to offer $35 mobile Rush tickets.

Writers Theatre, under the leadership of Artistic Director Michael Halberstam and Executive Director Kathryn M. Lipuma, continues its 2019/20 Season with The Niceties, written by Eleanor Burgess and directed by Marti Lyons. The Niceties runs November 6 a?" December 8, 2019 in the Alexandra C. and John D. Nichols Theatre at 325 Tudor Court, Glencoe.
