Untitled Theater Company No. 61 will present the World Premiere of Alma Baya, a new science fiction drama written and directed by Edward Einhorn (The Marriage of Alice B. Toklas by Gertrude Stein at HERE, NY Times Critic’s Pick), at A.R.T./New York’s Jeffrey and Paula Gural Theatre (502 West 53rd Street at 10th Avenue), August 13-28.

Trap Door Theatre will present And Away We Stared, devised and directed by Skye Fort and Mike Steele. 

The casts and creative teams have been assembled for Zoetic Stage’s inaugural Finstrom Festival of New Work which will be presented virtually from June 23rd thru 27th, on the theatre company’s Facebook page.

Saturday June 19, at 7pm, live The Marriage of Alice B. Toklas by Gertrude Stein, written and directed by Edward Einhorn, will have a live Zoom production broadcast via YouTube on Saturday June 19. It will reunite the original New York cast: Jan Leslie Harding, Mia Katigbak, Grant Neale, and Alyssa Simon.

Molière in the Park free staged readings of two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Richard Wilbur's translation of Molière's TARTUFFE, directed by Molière in the Park's Founding Artistic Director Lucie Tiberghien, opens tonight, May 26, and will continue through May 30, 2021.

In this, Award Winning,  one woman show Lynita Crofford plays both Englishwoman Emily Hobhouse who campaigned for the rights of women and children during the Anglo Boer War, of 1999-1902 and Tant Alie Badenhorst, a Boer woman held in a British concentration camp. 

Cabaret in Captivity, an annual cabaret produced by Untitled Theater Company No. 61 in honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day, will have two LIVE performances on April 11 and 18.

New York Theatre Workshop announced today that Associate Artistic Director Linda S. Chapman will retire at the end of the year following 25 years with the company. Chapman joined the company in 1995 and has served as an instrumental curator, advocate and collaborator.
