Producers of the Tony Award-winning, record-breaking hit musical Chicago announced today that actress Haley Swindal joins the Broadway production in the role of "Matron "Mama" Morton" starting tonight. She will play a two week limited engagement at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St.) through Sunday, March 17th only.

A pair of Broadway besties will share the stage in 2019! Barry and Fran Weissler and Norton and Elayne Herrick announced today that the hit show's composer and lyricist, the multi-platinum-selling Grammy and twice Tony-nominated singer-songwriter and New York Times best-selling author Sara Bareilles, will return to Waitress in the role of Jenna, joined by Tony Award-winner, Gavin Creel as Dr. Pomatter for a limited engagement January 7 to February 3, 2019.

Caroline Flack will star as Roxie Hart in CHICAGO from 10 December 2018 until the end of the show's run at the Phoenix Theatre on 5 January 2019.

As previously announced, Katharine McPhee is making her West End debut in Waitress, as Jenna, having played the role on Broadway earlier this year. McPhee is gearing up to return to the diner and she took to social media to celebrate. Check them out below!

The Tony Award-nominated musical will begin preview performances on 8 February ahead of its official opening night on 7 March at London's Adelphi Theatre. Currently playing its third year on Broadway, Waitress will bring with it an all-female lead creative team - a West End musical first.

The Drama League has announced additional special guests for its 35th Annual Benefit Gala: A Musical Celebration of Broadway honoring film, television, theater icon and three-time Tony Award winner Nathan Lane.

Due to popular demand, Alexandra Burke and Duncan James will extend their runs in CHICAGO at the Phoenix Theatre. Alexandra Burke will play Roxie Hart until 10 November 2018 and Duncan James will play Billy Flynn until 17 November 2018. Laura Tyrer will play Velma Kelly until 20 October followed by Josefina Gabrielle who returns to the role of Velma Kelly from 22 October - 5 January 2019.
