On Monday, January 13th, 2014 producers Kimberly Loren Eaton and Alan Swanke presented a reading of Wild and Willful Women to a full house at Baruch Performing Arts Center's Engelman Recital Hall, as the kickoff event the 13th Annual TRU Voices New Musicals Reading Series. This new musical is a tale of love, lust and witchcraft with book and lyrics by Bill Rogers and music by Daniel Doss. The Arvada Center will open A Christmas Carol, The Musical directed by Gavin Mayer on Tuesday, November 26 at 7:30 p.m. This Broadway rendition of a family holiday favorite will run through December 22 in the Main Stage Theater. Previews are November 22 - 24 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Performances are Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at 1:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. Please note: There will not be a performance on Thursday, November 28 due to the Thanksgiving holiday. An additional performance has been added on Sunday, December 1 at 7:30 p.m. Talkbacks will be offered Friday, December 6 after the 7:30 p.m. show and Wednesday, December 11 after the 1:00 p.m. show. Adult ticket prices start at $53, and children's tickets are half price. Book and Lyrics for Walden are written by Katherine Brann Fredricks and the music is composed by Bert Draesel. Brian Maschka directs a cast of eleven including Drew Aber, Cole Burden, Tyrone Davis, Jr, Susannah Jones, Lisa CM Lamothe, Rob Langeder, Heather Lundstedt, Ronnie Nelson, Doug Shapiro, Thalia St. Hubert and Stephanie Umoh.
