Pigs fly! For one-night only. A 2017 planned revival of Howard Crabtree's When Pigs Fly was brought to life at an Actor's Fund benefit concert Monday night!

FABULOUS NEWS, The Actors Fund will present a one-night benefit concert of When Pigs Fly, featuring the cast from the recently canceled production. I went to the major press event for the show and managed to secure some fab interview moments with the entire cast and some of the creatives.

The Actors Fund announced today a one night benefit concert of last year's planned off-Broadway revival of When Pigs Fly, that never actually got to play for an audience. The concert, which will reunite the cast members and creative team for one night only, is set for Monday, April 9th.

Another all-star cast has been assembled for the second concert in this record-breaking 18th season of Town Hall's signature series,Broadway by the Year. After February's triumphant season opener, Town Hall's next concert on March 26th at 8pm will star Olivier Award winner Lesli Margherita who has won fans across the length and breadth of Broadway with her starring roles in Matilda & Dames at Sea. The contribution of Jewish composers and lyricists to the Great American Songbook will be explored in a special concert event created, written, directed and hosted by NYC impresario Scott Siegel. Famous songs from the theater, movies, and pop that have become beloved standards -- all written by Jews -- will be highlighted.
