BAM has announced A New York Season, a celebratory homecoming that brings together a league of artists who have made, and continue to make, New York City the culture capital of the world.

The NY Dance and Performance Awards, The Bessies, New York City’s premier dance awards honoring outstanding creative work in the field, announced the presenters for the 37th Annual Bessie Awards ceremony. The virtual ceremony will take place on Monday, October 11, at 7:30pm.

Nineteen months after the band’s last performance together, David Byrne’s American Utopia returned to the live stage this evening – Friday, September 17 – at the St. James Theatre on Broadway (246 West 44th Street).

A limited number of $44 seats for each performance of David Byrne's American Utopia will be sold via a digital lottery random drawing powered by Lucky Seat. Entries for one or two tickets per entrant open at 10:00am ET on the Monday of the week prior to performances. For weekday performances, entries close at 9:59am ET the day prior to the performance.
