David Byrne's American Utopia will begin performances tomorrow at the Hudson Theatre

NYU Skirball will present The Road Awaits Us,  two North American premieres and one beloved solo from Big Dance Theatre on Friday November 8 and Saturday, November 9 at 7:30 pm at NYU Skirball.

Rodrigo y Gabriela have announced new US live dates for the fall, beginning in Sugar Land, TX, on November 15, and ending in Miami Beach, FL, on December 6, with a slew of dates throughout the midwest and southeast in between. Rodrigo y Gabriela have been bringing their incendiary stage performance to fans across the globe in support of their latest album, METTAVOLUTION. The acoustic duo's first album in five years, METTAVOLUTION marks the most ambitious music of Rodrigo y Gabriela's remarkable two-decade career and was one of NPR's top 6 albums of the week upon release. Three years in the making, the LP embraces the duo's passionate interest in Buddhism, the history of human evolution and the liberation of the potential we have as a species, all expressed through the medium of two acoustic guitars.

After a sold-out, year-long critically acclaimed international tour, David Byrne's American Utopia will play a strictly limited engagement on Broadway at the intimate Hudson Theatre from October 4, 2019 through January 19, 2020, with the official opening set for October 20, 2019.

Jacob's Pillow announces the complete schedule of Festival 2019. Rodrigo y Gabriela have unveiled their new song, 'Terracentric,' today, with a performance video showcasing the acoustic rock maestros' fresh approach to the studio for their eagerly awaited new album, Mettavolution, out April 26 on ATO Records. Layered with slide guitar and shimmering effects over pounding beats, 'Terracentric' is a prime example of the power displayed on the Dave Sardy-produced album. The song's arrival was heralded earlier today via Billboard.

David Byrne's American Utopia album, released earlier this year on Todomundo / Nonesuch Records, has been nominated for Best Alternative Album at the 61st Grammy Awards. American Utopia earned David his highest charting album ever, entering at No. 1 on the Top Current Album Chart and No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 and topping both Rock and Alternative Album Charts, as well as achieving career-best spots internationally. American Utopia features Byrne's Top 10 single, “Everybody's Coming To My House,” which he and his band performed on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
