Shea's Performing Arts Center has announced the M&T Bank 2022-23 Broadway Series and Special Engagements. Shea's Performing Arts Center President Michael G. Murphy and Broadway Partner Producer Albert Nocciolino unveiled the upcoming season today. The season includes thrilling new productions and beloved favorites on Shea's Buffalo stage beginning this September.

Afterwords is the 24th new musical produced by The 5th Avenue Theatre and features music and lyrics by Zoe Sarnak and a book by Emily Kazmarek, with direction by Adrienne Campbell-Holt, choreography by Ebony Williams, and music supervision by Matt Perri.

Breakout singer-songwriter Danielle Ponder is unveiling her new song, “So Long,” via Future Classic—a powerful anthem about the struggle of finding one’s voice, of resilience and renewal. The song was produced by Gianluca Buccellati, Mercury Prize winner, Grammy and Ivor Novello nominee for his work on Arlo Parks' Collapsed In Sunbeams.

Seven-time GRAMMY® Award-winning singer/songwriter Alanis Morissette has announced  dates for her world tour celebrating 25 years of JAGGED LITTLE PILL. The Straz Center has announced the full upcoming lineup for its 2022-23 Broadway season. The season will kick off in November with the National Tour of Six. Following that will be Hadestown, Hamilton, Tina, Chicago, Wicked, To Kill a Mockingbird, Ain't Too Proud, and Jagged Little Pill.

Co-produced by Campbell and George Drakoulias (The Black Crowes, The Jayhawks), the 11-track album was recorded at Campbell’s home studio, Hocus Pocus Recorders in Los Angeles. External Combustion also features Margo Price and Ian Hunter as well as piano from Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers founding member Benmont Tench on “Lightning Boogie.”
