The Boston Symphony will return to Tanglewood, its summer home in the beautiful Berkshires since 1937, and to welcome back audiences, July 4–August 26, for the first time since March 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic necessitated a 15-month performance hiatus.

Since the first lockdown in the spring of 2020, the Concertgebouworkest has streamed over eighty compositions in more than forty productions - including thirty-four orchestral programmes – on its website and social media channels.

Los Angeles Opera has a number of excellent recitals on its website including one by baritone Craig Colclough in which he sings the Shakespeare monologues from Otello and Macbeth that Verdi set to music. WQXR, New York City’s classical music station, today announced Beethoven Immortal, five days of special programming exploring the legacy of Ludwig van Beethoven, in honor of his 250th birthday. The festival airs Saturday, December 12 - Wednesday, December 16.
