FIVE WOMEN WEARING THE SAME DRESS Opens Tonight!FIVE WOMEN WEARING THE SAME DRESS Opens Tonight!
by BWW News Desk - Sep 8, 2016

Written by Alan Ball, who created 'Six Feet Under' and won an Oscar for the 'American Beauty' screenplay, the 1993 work is set at a society wedding in Knoxville, Tenn.During an ostentatious wedding reception at a Knoxville, Tennessee, estate, five reluctant, identically clad bridesmaids hide out in an upstairs bedroom, each with her own reason to avoid the proceedings below. As the afternoon wears on, these five very different women joyously discover a common bond in wickedly funny, irreverent and touching ways. (more...)
