Ralph Lee, one of New York's most celebrated puppeteers and mask designers, passed away at his home in Manhattan on May 12, at the age of 87. Shakespeare & Company, a theater performance, training, and education outfit based in Lenox, Mass., is home to many of Lee's original masks -- and the collection is receiving both new attention and use following news of the artist's passing.

Grounds for Sculpture is now presenting 'Night Forms: Infinite Waves' through April 2nd. The exhibition is in its second season.  The after hours, multi-sensory experience is designed for guests to engage with the outdoor art and horticulture collection.

Artistically in it together even if they’re not always sure what “it” is, the Lemon Girls show us that age is just a number: '5-6-7-8!'

The City of Coral Gables is turning on the lights. Illuminate Coral Gables (ICG), a new public art initiative focusing on the intentional use of light and technology to transform public art by day into magical and mysterious work at night, will be on view Feb. 12 – Mar. 14, 2021.

Hamptons Virtual Art Fair (HVAF) hosted by Christofle, which closed at 12AM on Tuesday, September 8th, generated a total of 26,000 visitors to its site.  As one of the nation's largest fairs this year, HVAF presented an unprecedented 106 gallery displays in 2D and 3D virtual technology.  Due to the overwhelming success, visitors will continue to have access through October 13, 2020.

Grounds For Sculpture (GFS) has reopened its premier outdoor sculpture garden, inviting the public to explore nearly 300 contemporary sculptures set in a 42-acre landscaped park with new health and safety procedures in place.

At an SRO ceremony held at Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield, the Board of the Berkshire Theatre Critics Association (BTCA) presented the Berkshire Theatre Awards on the evening of Monday, November 11, 2019. This was the fourth year the awards have been presented to honor and celebrate the excellence and diversity of theatre in the greater Berkshire region.

The Jewish Museum will present Rachel Feinstein: Maiden, Mother, Crone, the first survey of the New York-based artist in the United States, from November 1, 2019 through March 22, 2020. The exhibition includes three decades of Feinstein's work in sculpture, painting, and video, as well as a panoramic wallpaper, a major new commission, and the artist's maquettes for sculpture. Taken together, the works emphasize the artist's fascination with dualities: her investigations of masculinity and femininity or good and evil echo her formal explorations of balance and precariousness or positive and negative space. Feinstein's art follows myriad lines of inquiry, but the idea of the feminine is central. She has made a sustained examination of the many ways this concept is manifested culturally. Female protagonists and figures proliferate in her work and bind it together across diverse media.

This event will help launch the new album Swoon a?' the posthumous release produced by and featuring her collaborator Jamie Lawrence a?' featuring unreleased, never-before-heard compositions and interpretations of pop classics, which is available starting today, Friday, October 4.
