MOSSO, the Musicians of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, will celebrate the music of legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim on Thursday, June 23, at 7:30 PM in Springfield Symphony Hall. The Sondheim Celebration, conducted by Tim Stella, will feature Broadway stars Hugh Panaro and Lisa Vroman.

 The Richard P. Garmany Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving will be the lead sponsor of MOSSO’s, the Musicians of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, celebration of the music of legendary composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim.

MOSSO will celebrate the music of Stephen Sondheim and John Williams. These concerts mark the first time in almost twenty years that the musicians of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra have performed summer concerts in Springfield.

MOSSO, the Musicians of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra, have announced a summer concert series of three programs, two in Springfield Symphony Hall, and the third, an outdoor brass quintet program in Forest Park.

Broadway leading man Hugh Panaro (Phantom Of The Opera, Show Boat, Lestat, Side Show) will appear on Friday night August 4th in a one performance only concert on the Patio Cabaret Stage at the Sharon Playhouse in Sharon, CT.

God Bless us, everyone! My childhood came back to me while witnessing the holiday classic A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. This annual production by Actors Theatre of Louisville hit all the high notes on opening night and delivered a magical feast for the eyes, ears, and heart. After four decades this production still thrills and delivers the message of redemption and kindness from the past, present, and future. I was so happy to experience it among many families and I especially enjoyed hearing and seeing children's reactions to the show.

Today's subject Florence Lacey is currently living her theatre life at Signature Theatre where she is preparing to start performances of A Little Night Music in the role of Madame Armfeldt. The production runs August 15th through October 8th

Firehouse Theatre Project once again brings Broadway to Richmond with a one night only performance by Richmond Theatre Critics Circle (RTCC) Award winner Andrea Rivette, Sunday, February 9th at 8pm.
