Capital Repertory Theatre is celebrating the holidays with its second 2023/24 season show, “Million Dollar Quartet Christmas.” Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley come together again to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year.

The 12-track album will feature fan-favorite songs “Save The City” from the Disney+ series “Hawkeye” (written by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman) and “Star Spangled Man” from the film “Captain America: The First Avenger” (written by Alan Menken and David Zippel). “boy: a new musical” made it's stage debut in a concert fundraiser at SDMT stage on Monday, May 16th. “boy: a new musical” is still in the development stage, and the concert was a fundraiser to help them continue to work on the show and present it to industry professionals in New York.

San Diego Musical Theatre has announced Date Night - scheduled to stream February 11 - 14, 2021, featuring Emmy Award Winner special guest, Carolyn Hennesy! Date Night opens with Carolyn Hennesy's grand entrance into Manhattan's, a neighborhood wine bar tended to by a San Diego musical theatre favorite, Robert J. Townsend.

Oceanside Theatre Company (OTC) announces its production of RED by John Logan. Produced by OTC artistic director Ted Leib, the production is directed by Kevin Hafso-Koppman and features Robert May and Luke Monday. The production will run May 4th - 20th.

San Diego Musical Theatre in co-production with California Ballet Company presents the award-winning musical, Billy Elliot at the Spreckels Theatre.

San Diego Musical Theatre (SDMT) and California Ballet Company (CBC) announced today the complete cast and creative team for their upcoming co-production of Billy Elliot. This Tony Award-Winning musical includes music by Elton John, with book and lyrics by Lee Hall. Billy Elliot features direction by Neil Dale, who makes his San Diego directorial debut, music direction by Don LeMaster, and choreography by California Ballet Company Associate Artistic Director, Jared Nelson. Performances run from September 22 - October 8, 2017, at the Spreckels Theatre. Press opening is Today, September 23, 2017, at 8:00 p.m.
