BIO

Dean was born in Northern Ireland, where he directed his first show aged 12, in a small theatre in Belfast, and continued to follow this passion throughout his childhood, before studying at The Guildford School of Acting.

Dean's career has seen a number of works, over a broad range of material including Godspell, featuring Ramin Karimloo, Kerry Ellis and George Maguire, for which Dean was nominated for the Broadwayworld.com Award for Best Director of a Musical in the West End 2016.
?
His other credits as a theatre director include In The Heights (Stockwell Playhouse, London) Patterns (Landor Theatre), Irish Premieres of Pippin + Into The Woods in Belfast, and productions of Sweeney Todd, Dorian Grey, etc in London. Dean also served as Associate Director of Annie West End 2015, and as associate on productions of Rent and Chess with Steven Dexter.
