Composer-Lyricist-Bookwriter Mary Liz McNamara is currently working on Body and Soul based on the 2009 documentary by filmmaker Alice Elliott. Excerpts from Body and Soul were seen at New York Theater Barn in October 2014. Awards: 2013 Bistro Award for Songwriting, 2011 BMI Foundation Harrington Award for creative achievement in musical theater, two MAC awards and six ASCAP PLUS awards. Mary Liz is a frequent NYC performer, and her songs are performed by cabaret and musical theater artists across the country. She is a member of the BMI Musical Theater Workshop (as a composer/lyricist and a librettist), and about a million other performing arts unions and organizations. Her song "Bacon" was used in an episode of "So You Think You Can Dance."

In THE GOOD GIRL, a newly-dead mother finds herself in that great jazz club in the sky where, accompanied by a cool cat Bass Player, she watches her daughter Terry try to balance a jump-started love life and being the caregiver for her impossibly cantankerous father.

Director/Choreographer is Laura Brandel (Neil LaBute's Autobahn, The Grass is Greener (Kaye Playhouse/Moving Images Festival and Producing Director of the New York Theatre Barn. Musical Director Beth Falcone (Winner, Kleban Prize, composer Wanda's World 45th Street Theatre, BMI Foundation Harrington Award for creative achievement in Musical Theatre.)

The Cast includes Raissa Katona Bennett (Christine Daae in Phantom of the Opera, Broadway: Majestic Theatre), Chess, (Actor's Fund Benefit). First National Tours: "Jellylorum" in Cats, "Lizzie Phagan" in Parade, and created the role of "Mother Hawkins" in NYC'S Theatre East's Devil and the Deep, Headliner: Feinstein's, Beechman Theatre, Metropolitan Room, Iridium. Newest CD, Another Kind of Light on LML. Ritt Henn: Winner, 2005 Backstage Bistro Award for outstanding songwriter; 2005 MAC Award for outstanding Songwriter/Instrumentalist) Julie Reyburn was awarded the 2011 MAC Award for Major Artist by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs. She is a 4 time MAC, and 2 time Bistro award winner for her appearances at Feinstein's and The Metropolitan Room. She is the first ever Nightlife Award Winner (2003, 2005-6 -finalist) and in 2007, the coveted Mable Mercer Award. Many legit credits include York Theatre, NYMF, Spirit of Broadway, CT She records for No Cover records. Faith Sandberg is NewYork actor/singer/entertainer. James A. Stephens has appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway and the West End as well as major US regional theatres.

MMTL, founded by Bick Goss as Musical Mondays, celebrates its 15th year presenting new musicals including Feeling Electric, which after a name change became the Pulitzer and Tony Winner Next to Normal. Other premieres include See Rock City and the upcoming It Shoulda Been You slated starring Tyne Daly and directed by David Hyde Pierce.

Two Time Tony Nominee and Prime Time Emmy Award Winner, Penny Fuller, equally at home in film, television, cabaret and Broadway, leads the cast Mary Liz McNamara's new original musical, The Good Girl. Ms. Fuller's Broadway credits include Neil Simon's The Dinner Party, Horton Foote's Dividing the Estate, Wendy Wasserstein's An American Daughter, Eve Harrington (Tony nomination) in the original production of Applause and as Sally Bowles in the long-running original production of Cabaret.

Frank Evans serves as Producing Artistic Director and Daniel Israel is Board President.
