"An amazing theater event... one of the most entertaining, fun, let-yourself-go-and-join-in and, of course, imaginative experiences one will ever have at the theater." (LubbockOnline, January 9, 2011).  The reviews are in and THE ALUMINUM SHOW is wowing audiences in their first large scale international U.S. tour.  The company had its U.S. debut two years ago in a sold-out, month-long run at the Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, and is making its New York City premiere with a performance at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at 4pm.

The Aluminum Show is a unique new convergence of movement, dance and visual theater.  Special effects, creative mechanisms and acrobatic dance, bring silver industrial materials to life with energy, emotion and even personality, to create a luminous and reflective world.  This provocative, highly entertaining show springs from the genius of Ilan Azriel, who's mastered the highly entertaining, innovative uses of various materials, and Yuval Kedem, one of Israel's principal special effects experts.

"A fascinating, family friendly, fun and interesting show... Incredibly interactive from the front of the theatre all the way to the back... Very Visual... The energy is amazing... Something I've never seen before." - Fox News

Azriel, a dancer and creator born in Dimona, Israel, danced for years in Inbal Dance-Theater in Tel Aviv and later on in the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company (KCDC).  In 1997, he established the Dollbeat Group and staged performances that combined dance, unique choreography and puppetry to operate life-size puppets, masks and other objects.  Dollbeat won critical acclaim in Israel and in Europe, and represented Israel at international tourism fairs in Berlin, Moscow and Las Vegas.  Aluminum was firstly performed at the Israel Festival, Jerusalem 2003.
