The Peterborough Players' Arts on Screen 2015-2016 Series presents an encore of the Bolshoi Ballet's production of Balanchine's JEWELS, this Sunday, November 15th at 1pm.

With this first abstract ballet, choreographer George Balanchine built an homage of captivating beauty to the dance schools that had forged his style: Paris, New York, and St. Petersburg, each represented by a contrasting jewel: emerald, ruby and diamond. JEWELS premiered at the New York State Theater (now the David H. Koch Theater) at Lincoln Center in 1967.

The Peterborough Players' Arts on Screen series is presented in stunning NEC high definition digital projection and incomparable Dolby Surround Sound.

Bolshoi Ballet tickets are $20 each. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Box Office at 603-924-7585 or online at PlayersTix.com. Students (with proper ID) can purchase tickets (at the box office) for $15. The Players accepts MasterCard, Visa or American Express.

The Peterborough Players Theatre is located at 55 Hadley Road in Peterborough, New Hampshire, approximately 90 minutes from Boston.

The Peterborough Players, Inc., a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, has been providing professional theatre to audiences since 1933. It has been globally recognized as one of the most important regional theatres in North America.
