The Garden Theatre presents the Jester Theater Company production of Greater Tuna, March 18-April 2 at the Garden Theatre (160 West Plant Street). This hilarious satire on life in rural America is set in Texas' third smallest town of Tuna, where the Lion's Club is too liberal and Patsy Cline never dies. The eclectic band of citizens (men, women, children, and animals) that make up this town are portrayed by just two performers in this quick-change comedy.

This production co-stars Jay Hopkins and Tyler Cravens, both of whom appeared on the Garden Theatre stage in Noises Off in October 2010. The two local actors have been friends since they met while working at Universal Orlando several years ago. In addition to being an actor, Tyler is well-known for his award-winning restaurant Thai Blossom in historic downtown Winter Garden. Jay is the Artistic Director of Jester Theater Company, and has produced several comedies since the re-opening of the Garden Theatre in 2008, including The Musical of Musicals, The Musical; Moonlight and Magnolias; Zombies from the Beyond; The Iliad, the Odyssey, and All of Greek Mythology in 99 Minutes or Less; and Noises Off.
