Award-winning playwright Garry Michael Kluger's latest play, 1ST DEGREE° will have its world premiere at the UT Theatre of the Falcon Stages in April, 2016. Kluger is also directing this limited engagement of his latest comedy. Kluger's other works include In A Yellow Wood, A Thorn In The Family Paw, and the award-winning plays Brotherhood,The Homecoming, Office Hours, and The Other Half.

1st Degree° follows the waitresses of Mandells Restaurant: Lisa, Jackie, Audrey, Rebecca, Cammy, and Tink when they find out that their favorite band, 1ST Degree°, will be holding a one-night only show at a local Rock & Roll club. With no money to buy tickets, the task becomes how to get in and see their favorite group perform. When the answer comes, it's via their friends, Jesse and Peter, who will be working at the club on performance night. And, as is usually the case in situations like this, all the best-laid plans of mice and men - and Rock and Roll fanatic waitresses - usually doesn't go as all had hoped.

The young and talented cast of 1ST Degree° includes: Samantha Abelson, Parnaz Boroon, Allie Fernandez, Thomas Proctor, Lara Rostomian, Aidan Travis, Hannah Weingarten, Taylor Wolfe.
