Honestly, OK, the semi-true story of a girl and her shoes, written by Lauren Stone and Nicole Dominguez, based on events in the life of Nicole Dominguez, will open in a full production on June 8th at The Blank Theatre in the Hollywood Fringe Festival.

Honestly, OK is directed by Michael A. Shepperd (Artistic Director- Celebration Theatre) and stars Ellen D. Williams (How I Met Your Mother), Christine Lakin (Silence! The Musical, Step by Step), Terry Ray (Gaydar, Cost of Living) and Nicole Dominguez.

A teenager, Nicole, is kicked out of her parent's house. She lives on the streets until a kind citizen exposes the budding actress to a new career, with a pair of clear acrylic heels. Honestly, OK examines Nicole's life from homeless teen to theatre director/writer. A memory play told in 60 minutes, the tale flashes through time, with two women and one man representing all of the people who have touched Nicole's life. At times hilarious, at times touching, and at times cruel, the play is a realistic view of one woman's struggle to find a home and make a life for herself.

Honestly, Ok was developed in The Blank Theatre's Living Room Series (Daniel Henning, Founding Artistic Director) in Hollywood, California.

Tickets are now available through the Hollywood Fringe website, Hollywoodfringe.org.

The show runs June 8th at 5pm, June 19th at 8pm, June 20 at 9pm, June 21st at 9pm, and June 22nd at 5pm.
