CSULB Theatre Arts Department is proud to announce the inauguration of their new donor wall, created in appreciation of the individuals and corporations who have generously contributed to the department. The donor wall will be revealed at the opening of the first show of the semester, Mutual Consent, the evening of February 12th.

Spearheaded by third-year MBA/MFA Theatre Management student Sean Book, the donor wall uses repurposed lighting lenses from the recently technologically-updated University Theatre and LED lighting to spotlight and bring focus to the corporations and individuals who have supported our department, including Elation Professional Lighting, Keith & Carol Polakoff, Mort & Susan Stuhlbarg, and many more. The donor wall will be permanently on display in the lobby of the Theatre Arts building available for all patrons and students to view and appreciate.

The Long Beach community is invited to join the CSULB Theatre Arts Department in this celebration taking place immediately after the opening night performance of Mutual Consent, Friday, February 12th at 8pm. Mutual Consent, written by CSULB alum Nancy Bell and Peter Grandbois, and directed by Anne Justine D'Zmura, explores what it means to be in a true romantic relationship in today's society. For tickets and information go to calrep.org or call (562) 985-5526.

The California State University, Long Beach Theatre Arts Department is home to a diverse student, staff, and faculty population and houses five producing entities - California Repertory Company; University Players; Theatre Threshold, a laboratory company for student-initiated and produced work with weekly performances in the Theatre Arts Studio 24/26; The Affinity Series, focused on education performances, presentations, and panels celebrating and addressing diverse, timely, and challenging social issues; and EPIC (Educational Performances In Community), a training initiative focused on building bridges within the campus and greater Long Beach community.
