Opening Night at the Hollywood Bowl 2012, Friday, June 22, at 8 pm, features two powerful female musical artists – Queen of Country Reba McEntire and Queen of Funk Chaka Khan – as they are inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame. The event, hosted by the legendary Julie Andrews, marks the 13th Anniversary of the Hall of Fame. Lily Tomlin presents a tribute to Reba via video while "Reba" co-star Melissa Peterman inducts her in person. Randy Jackson will induct Chaka Khan. Each inductee will perform with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra led by Thomas Wilkins. The evening ends with a spectacular Fireworks Finale.

Proceeds support the Los Angeles Philharmonic's music education programs.
