Marie Eberline, Brent Schindele Lead Pasadena Playhouse's SOUTH STREET

The Pasadena Playhouse (Sheldon Epps, Artistic Director and Stephen Eich, Executive Director) announced that full casting is complete for the premiere production of the new musical SOUTH STREET by Richard Addrisi (music and lyrics; co-writer of "Never My Love" BMI #2-ranked Song of the Century) and Craig Carlisle (book; Bob Funk, Best New Play Ovation Award-nominee). SOUTH STREET is presented in association with Kathleen K. Johnson (2009 Tony Award-winner Best Revival of a Musical, Hair). The limited engagement performs September 16 - October 16, 2011, with the official press opening on September 25, 2011, at The Pasadena Playhouse (39 S. El Molino Avenue).

The creative team for the production is also confirmed with direction by Roger Castellano (award-winning LA regional director/choreographer); choreography by Dana Solimando (Jesus Christ Superstar, national tour); scenic design by Andy Walmsley (Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, "America's Got Talent," "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire"); costume design by Kate Bergh (Prisoner of Second Avenue with Jason Alexander, Dangerous Beauty associate designer); lighting design by Brian Monahan (2006 Tony Award nominee, The Drowsy Chaperone); sound design by Julie Ferrin (Peter Pan national tour with Cathy Rigby); orchestrations by Don Sebesky (Tony, Grammy, Drama Desk and Emmy Award-winning orchestrator/arranger); music supervision by Andrew Sotomayor (Cutman: A Boxing Musical); and musical direction by Michael Borth (Off-Broadway's The Marvelous Wonderettes).

SOUTH STREET will play at The Pasadena Playhouse from September 16 - October 16, 2011, with the official press opening on September 25, 2011. The Pasadena Playhouse is located at 39 South El Molino Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91101. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Friday at 8:00 p.m.; Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.; and Sunday at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Regular ticket price range is from $39.00 - $69.00, with Premium Seating available for $100.00. All preview performances are $10 off the regular ticket price (except Premium Seating). Rush tickets are available for $20.00 one hour prior to the performance time and are subject to availability.
