My Fair Lady is set to come to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) on Friday, January 27, 8:00 PM; Saturday, January 28, 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM; and Sunday, January 29, 2:00 PM.

Tickets, priced from $65-$30, are available at the CCPA Ticket Office, www.cerritoscenter.com, or by calling (562) 467-8818.

About the show: "MY FAIR LADY brings all its grandeur and romance and “one of the greatest scores in history” to the CCPA. Featuring captivating numbers such as Wouldn’t It Be Loverly, I Could Have Danced All Night, I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face, and Get Me to the Church on Time, the iconic Broadway musical is based on the George Bernard Shaw play Pygmalion, with lyrics and music by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe."

"The enchanting tale of a Cockney flower girl, Eliza Doolittle, who becomes a proper lady with the help of phoneticist-professor Henry Higgins, My Fair Lady has garnered a succession of honors and awards, including Tonys for “Best Musical” and “Best Choreography.” The play also scored multiple Drama Desk and Olivier musical awards."

When the production premiered on Broadway in 1956, it set the record for the longest running musical of that time. A popular 1964 film version, starring Audrey Hepburn, won eight Academy Awards, including “Best Picture” and “Best Original Music Score.”
