The award-winning Impro Theatre presents the return of their acclaimed production Twilight Zone UnScripted with a brand new production of Horror UnScripted - both in time for Halloween. Both shows are presented at the Impro Studio, the home of the Impro Theatre School in the heart of Los Feliz, from October 2 to 31.

Paying homage to Rod Serling's iconic sci-fi series, each performance of Twilight Zone UnScripted enters the dimension of pure imagination as the company starts with audience suggestions and creates all-new and completely improvised episodes at every performance. Directed by Jo McGinley and Stephen Kearin, Twilight Zone UnScripted has been Ovation Recommended and has received the following praise: "Spectacular! Has to be seen to be believed. Impro Theatre's production lives up to the inherent risk in storytelling, performing and ultimately creating something magical" (EyeSpyLA). "Phenomenal! A must see. A totally entertaining and stimulating evening of theater. Rod Serling would be proud" (Examiner). "Delightful! This company's remarkably adroit wizards of improvisation take you on a sidesplitting ride through The Twilight Zone" (Arts in LA).

With Horror UnScripted, the Impro company starts with audience suggestions and takes a "stab" at creating completely improvised full-length plays in the style of 1980s horror films. Directed by Dan O'Connor and Ryan Smith, each performance in this new production will present a side-splitting, nightmare-inducing spectacle. These plays have never been seen before, they will never be seen again - and they cannot be unseen.

Twilight Zone UnScripted and Horror UnScripted are intimate productions from Impro Theatre, which recently garnered national attention with a profile in American Theatre magazine. They have performed regionally at South Coast Repertory, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, The Broad Stage in Santa Monica, North Coast Repertory, The Falcon Theatre in Burbank, The Carrie Hamilton Theatre at the Pasadena Playhouse, and many more.

Writing about Impro Theatre, American Theatre magazine said, "These virtuosic talents simply are as superhuman as they seem. These serious professional actors, classically trained, can write on their feet better than many writers can type at a desk. Impro's work has taught me to demand more from the theatre." Los Angeles Times calls Impro Theatre, "Amazing! One of the funniest evenings in town. The troupe spins an entire play into comedy gold right before your eyes." Impro's shows have been consistently honored with "Ovation Recommended" and "Critic's Picks" with sold-out shows all over the world, and they were recently named by LAist as one of the 12 Best Theatre Companies in Los Angeles.

Impro Theatre creates completely improvised, full-length plays in the styles of the world's greatest writers. With no pre-planning or prepared scenarios, the performers start with audience suggestions and then write theatre as they perform it, combining verbal dexterity and dynamic physicality to bring character and plot to life in an instant. Impro Theatre's performances are unique; there are no repeated characters and no set story structure. Each performance offers an exploration into the process of spontaneous creation while encouraging a profound level of engagement between performers and audience, who are all united in discovering what happens in the moment on that particular night.

Twilight Zone UnScripted runs from October 2-17, 2015. Horror UnScripted runs from October 23-31, 2015. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm. General admission tickets are $30. Tickets are available at www.ImproTheatre.com or by calling (323) 401-6162.
